Oldies but Goodies

Mia has been totally bored this summer without her bestie, big sis Liv. So we've been introducing her to some classic books and movies. We flew through many of the Judy Blume classics (the Fudge series, Iggie's House, Are You There God? It's Me Margaret). Blume's books are SO good. Whenever it was Hubs's turn to read to Mia and I missed a part, I was so bummed. Blume might just be the best author of all time.

We also screened some classic films with Mia: Big, E.T., Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. And some more recent oldies but goodies: Pitch Perfect 1 & 2, and Ten Things I Hate About You. Ok so Ten Things isn't the most appropriate. But all of the super spicy stuff flies right over Mia's head :) She and Liv found Ten Things on one of the apps before Liv left for camp, and now it's a household favorite. Next up? Back to Gilmore Girls! Once Livvy Love returns home.
