I saw the sign

The recent Bluey episode The Sign is getting a lot of press. Critics are up in arms about the ending. I think they're missing the point. I won't give spoilers, but I will say that the episode explores a potential family move and the angst that accompanies that big change. The Sign addresses the idea of "good luck" vs "bad luck" and gives sage advice on having a healthy perspective. Of course there are highs and lows in any long, rich life. Is any experience ever all "good" or all "bad?" If one follows her intuition, does she end up exactly where she's meant to be? Or are our courses charted in the stars regardless? Lots of life's big questions are covered in this lengthier episode of the popular children's show. Watching it with my kids, I was able to ponder these themes through their lens, as well as my own. The haters who don't appreciate the ending are not getting it, in my opinion. The ending is neither good nor bad. It just “is.” Whether or not the result is good for Bluey and her family, “we’ll see.” I know my kids enjoyed the episode, and they're my greatest spiritual teachers. I loved the The Sign as well.
