Happy Place

I read Happy Place before the recent atrocities in Israel. It was an easy, light read. If you need a momentary escape, dig in. Happy Place centers on Harriet and her ex fiance Wyn, who together begrudgingly reunite with their college friend group in their happy place, a parent's Maine cottage. The estranged couple is forced to fake being together, after secretly breaking up months prior. The book brought me back to my 20's, and was a welcome reminder of the unconditional bond and love between college friends. And having married one of my college friends, I can relate to the storyline <3 The novel also has The Notebook vibes, and some sexy parts.

Read on,
