I just read Does This Volvo Make My Butt Look Big? in mere days. It's a collection of essays written by beloved author Annabel Monaghan. It's the perfect book for parents of school aged kids. Monaghan writes about the whirlwind of September, back to school night, the prospect of the college application. As always, Monaghan is wise, witty and relatable. I giggled while reading. Beyond parenthood, she delves into friendships and marriage. Reading this book is a bit like reading a quick collection of short blog posts written by a friend. I highly recommend! And now that I've gotten a glimpse into Monaghan's personal life, I'm intrigued and I'd love to see a memoir from her. Fingers crossed!
